1. Who we are
HumoAzul trading as Humo Azul (ABN) (“we”, “us”, “our”) operates humoazul.com and sells rechargeable nicotine vaping products to adults in Australia. This Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store and protect your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. What personal information we collect
Depending on how you engage with us we may collect:
- your name, email address, postal / delivery address, and phone or WhatsApp number;
- age-verification information, including a copy of a government-issued photo ID where required;
- order history, including the products purchased, quantities, prices and delivery preferences;
- payment reference information (we do not store full card numbers — see clause 5);
- communications you send us by email, contact form or WhatsApp, and our replies;
- website usage data such as IP address, device type, browser type, pages viewed, and referring URL, collected through cookies and analytics.
We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information:
- when you place an order or create an account on humoazul.com;
- when you complete our contact form or subscribe to our mailing list;

5. Third parties we share information with
We share the minimum information necessary with:
- payment / invoicing providers (to accept payment and issue receipts);
- couriers and Australia Post (to deliver your order);
- email, marketing and CRM tools we use to send communications you have opted into;
- age-verification providers, if used;
- professional advisers (accountants, auditors, lawyers) under confidentiality;
- regulators, courts and law-enforcement agencies where legally required.
We do not sell your personal information. Some of our providers may store or process data overseas; we take reasonable steps to ensure they handle it consistently with the APPs.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law (including a minimum of 7 years for tax and financial records under the Income Tax Assessment Act and related legislation). Age-verification documents are held only as long as needed to complete the verification and satisfy compliance obligations, then securely deleted.
7. Your rights of access and correction
Under the Privacy Act you have the right to:
- request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete or misleading;
- withdraw consent to marketing communications at any time.

8. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, secure your session, measure traffic and, where consented, deliver relevant marketing. You can disable cookies through your browser settings; parts of the site may not function correctly without them.
9. Marketing and opt-out
Where you have consented, we may send you promotional emails or messages about products, offers or content. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out of WhatsApp or SMS marketing at any time by replying STOP or by emailing us. Transactional messages (order confirmations, dispatch notifications, warranty replies) will continue where necessary to service your order.

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm, we will notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) in accordance with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme under Part IIIC of the Privacy Act.
